This Task Group has the mandate to review Code Change Requests (CCR) related to standards and - if the TG deems it appropriate to review those standards and make a recommendation to the National Model Code Committee on Referenced Standards to either reject the CCR or to develop it and reference the standard.

This meeting was about CCR 1656 and 1657, which suggest to reference CAN/ULC S743.1 "Standard for Thermal Insulation – Low Pressure Applied Two Component Spray Polyurethane Foam, Part 1: Material Specification" and CAN/ULC S743.2 (a product that allows applying the sprayfoam from refillable cylinders (think BBQ propane bottles) which is suitable and cost-effective for mid-szie or remote applications. The installer certification training for this product is being delivered online. 

The TG reached consensus to add the reference to the S743.1&S743.2. However, the TG also felt there is a need to have an explanatory note especially for Part 9 to highlight some issues around the application of this product.
